Today was a burner! After an intense weight training session in the gym this morning, we made the spontaneous decision to go on a bike ride! IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DAY!
What I love equally is the reward of my post-workout routine and the spa-like feeling I like to indulge in after a hard workout. This said, I started my nighttime routine a bit earlier to help me unwind and thought I’d share some highbrow details of things I do nightly to help me unwind:
Things I do before bed to relax
- eat a balanced dinner: if you keep up with my IG stories you’ll notice that I recently shared I started a new nutrition plan, having a menu planned for the week has been a game changer in helping me hit my macros and ensuring my body gets what it needs.

- plan out the next day. If you fail to plan; you plan to fail – nuff said. I recently went on a rant in my IG stories as well about taking back control of my time and it has been a game changer in helped to keep me focused. When I wake up each day there is no better feeling that knowing what I want to prioritize.
- lay out my clothes: a simple garment rack has been helpful in literally helping me to sort out what I want to wear not only for the next day but for the entire week! I recently decided to switch from a floor to a wall rack as I personally found it to be more study. I got this one from Amazon.
