Lately, I’ve been going to the salon more, though I’ve also been missing my DIY hair care routine and I recently decided I wanted to get back into the swing of things. If you’re new here, back in 2020 when we couldn’t go outside and people were stocking up on toilet paper…I took it upon myself to stock up on deep conditioner instead. Below is ACTUAL footage showing the results of my very consistent efforts:
On the left is my hair post highlights and hair breakage due to excessive use of the flat iron and a poor hair hydration regimen. YES, I took biotin and collagen supplements, though I ALSO drank tons of water and changed my diet as well. I won’t sit here and tell you it was one magic pill or product that created these results for me, in my case it was the combination of all the things and for those of you who are interested, sharing some of the various products I’ve used to treat my hair back to health over the past 3.5 years…
